The $100,000 stake we started with on Oct. 26, 2012, grew this past week. It hit a new closing high of $126,438 on Friday afternoon.
Our 26.4% return since inception compared favorably to the performance of the S&P 500 ETF (SPY) which returned 21.5% over the same time period.
We locked in a 5-month, 32.8% gain on Life Time Fitness (LTM) earlier in the week. That pushed our cash reserve up to $8,513 or 6.7% of the total account value.
We also closed out our LTM August $45 put for 15-cents a share in the virtual put selling portfolio . We captured more than 97% of the original $5.60 /share premium while exiting a month early.
